Submit an anniversary/birthday
The Seward County Independent will print wedding anniversary notices at five-year intervals beginning with the 40th anniversary and birthday notices beginning at the 75th birthday when open houses or card showers are being planned. Birthdays of 90 years and above may be run annually. The deadline for submission is Friday at noon. Because we are a general circulation newspaper, only events of a public nature will be included in advance. Photos may be run beginning with the 75th birthday or 40th anniversary. Wedding photos may be run with anniversary announcements. If you are submitting a photo from a professional photographer, the SCI must have written permission from the photographer to use the picture. It may be e-mailed to jillmartin@sewardindependent.com.
