Submit an engagement
The Seward County Independent will run a one-time engagement announcement and photo, free of charge. Announcement forms may be held if a preferred run date is included. Announcements published with mistakes beyond our control may be rerun for a fee of $20. Please note: Information will appear in the newspaper in the same order it is listed on the form. Information we have not requested will not be included; however, an ad may be purchased to include additional information. Forms must be submitted by noon Fridays. Photos, saved in the JPG format, may also be e-mailed. Prints sent to the Independent may be picked up during normal business hours or, if a self-addressed stamped envelope is provided, will be returned. If you are submitting a photo from a professional photographer, the SCI must have written permission from the photographer to use the picture. It may be e-mailed to jillmartin@sewardindependent.com.
