Mr. Bjerrum was born Feb. 1, 1983, in York to Lori Bjerrum and Scott Snyder.
He graduated from Centennial High School in 2001.
Mr. Bjerrum was a member of the Utica United Methodist Church were he was baptized and confirmed.
He was employed at the Bullet Hole Restaurant in Utica.
He had his own D.J. service, Colby's Mobil Music, and was a former employee of Pac-N-Save Grocery in Seward.
Colby was born a fighter and overcame many obstacles with a great attitude in his short-lived life.
Colby's greatest loves were his mom and music. Lori and Colby had a bond rarely seen.
His music brought joy and entertainment to everyone who knew him.
Survivors include his mother Lori Bjerrum, Utica; father and wife Scott and Denise Snyder, Phoenix, Ariz.; half brother Nickolas Snyder, Phoenix, Ariz.; grandparents Randy and Leah Bjerrum, Utica, Nancy Bjerrum, Lincoln, and Dean and Donna Snyder, York; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins; and his buddy Matt Palmer.
Service was July 23, 2010, at Volzke Funeral Home, Seward, with the Rev. Betsy Galloway-Carew officiating.
Casketbearers were Nick Neujahr, Derreck Tobey, Russell Petersen, Brett Petersen, Steve Schroeder and Don Dinkelman.
Honorary casketbearers were the Centennial High School class of 2001.
Burial was at Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Gresham.
Memorials may be made to the family's choice.
