June Adele Sole, 84, died July 20, 2010, at Sunrise Country Manor near Milford.
Miss Sole was born Oct. 17, 1925, at Harvard to Alwyne and Iva (Chaney) Sole.
She graduated from Grafton High School in 1943.
Miss Sole assisted her mother operate the local telephone switchboard out of their home and learned to be a telephone operator. She later worked at the Geneva and Lincoln offices of Lincoln Telephone Company. She was a compiler for MetroMail in the Lincoln office, retiring in 1990.
She was a member of the Congregational Church in Grafton.
Miss Sole enjoyed playing cards, putting together jigsaw puzzles, raising flowers and working with ceramics.
Miss Sole was preceded in death by her infant brother Elmer; brothers Owen, Ernest and George Sole and Claire Dailey; sisters Jean A. Moritz, Iva F. Bussard and Bernice Hochreiter; and brothers-in-law James Hochreiter and Robert Moritz.
Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law Richard and Delores Sole, Waterloo, Iowa; sisters and brother-in-law Jennie Griess, Grand Island, and Alison and Dale Patten, Windsor, Mo.; nieces and nephews.
Service was July 27, 2010, at Grafton Cemetery, Grafton, with the Rev. Michael Curd officiating.
Memorials may be made to the family.
