Melvin D. Alexander, 63, died July 24, 2010, at Lincoln.
Mr. Alexander was born Jan. 4, 1947, at Oklahoma City, Okla., to Marcus J. and Mollie L. (Howard) Alexander.
He was a truck driver for LeGrande Excavating in Lincoln.
Mr. Alexander was preceded in death by his two brothers.
Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law Elizabeth and Rick Sarvat, Penndel, Pa., Leona and Gene Selby, Seward, and Teresa Connor, Seward; son Mel Alexander Jr., Lincoln; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; mother of their children Patti Alexander, Lincoln; a sister; three brothers; nieces and nephews.
A private family service was held.
Memorials may be made to the Alexander family in care of Zabka Funeral Home, Seward.
