 | Aug. 14, 2010, at 7:25 p.m.-The Seward County E911 Center received a report of a male subject allegedly involved in an indecent exposure incident near the Ag Pavilion. Sergeant Mike Vance and Deputy Ryon Blath responded and contacted the reporting party. The alleged subject was later identified as Randy Montgomery, 44, of St. Paul. Montgomery was arrested and booked in at the Seward County Detention Center. Wednesday, September 01, 2010 |

Transactions recorded between Aug. 10 and Aug. 16 are: Thursday, August 26, 2010 |  | | From the Sheriff, Aug. 25 | Aug. 5, 2010, at 6:33 p.m.-The Seward County E911 Center received a report of a theft of copper wire from two outbuildings near 190th and Superior Road. Deputy Troy Schaefer was assigned to investigate and responded to the scene. Schaefer determined that the copper wire taken was braided copper wire used for lightening rod cable. Evidence was recovered from the scene by Schaefer, and he later determined that the rural location had been the scene of a previous incident in 2008. Anyone with information about this crime or any unsolved crime is encouraged to call the Seward County Sheriff's Office at 402-643-2359 or Seward County Crime Stoppers at 402-643-3334. Crime Stoppers offers anonymous callers a cash reward pf up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest of any individual criminally involved in this or other similar cases. Transactions recorded between July 27 and Aug. 9 are: Wednesday, August 18, 2010 |  | | From the Sheriff, Aug. 18 | July 29, 2010, at 10:25 a.m.-Sgt. Tina Matulka took a report in the lobby of the Sheriff's Office from a concerned citizen who resides near 266th and Rokeby Road southwest of Milford. The citizen reported that they believed a mountain lion was prowling in the area of their residence and had attacked two of their domesticated animals and killed them. The citizen informed Matulka that a juvenile family member observed a large animal attack and kill a pet. She added that she had heard growling sounds in the area of the house on several occasions. Matulka advised the citizen regarding precautions to take in dealing with any wild animal that is discovered attacking livestock, domesticated animals or humans. Matulka also referred the report to a representative with Games and Parks. **UPDATE** On Aug. 9, Sheriff Joe Yocum was advised by Conservation Officer Stacey Lewton that he believes the animal involved in these incidents is a coyote.
