NOTICE The Regular Meeting of the Board of Education of School District No. 2R, Butler County Nebraska, the School District of East Butler, in the State of Nebraska was convened at the school in Brainard, NE the meeting place of said Board on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. Attending were Board Members: Megan Kozisek, Kim TePoel, Sarah Strizek, Brandon Jisa, Ryan Pekarek, and Dylan Spatz. Also present were Mr. Michael Eldridge, Superintendent, Mr. Mark Cidlik, Secondary Principal, and Mr. Shawn Biltoft, Elementary Principal. Motions were made on the following items: 1. Approved consent agenda: minutes and treasurer’s report 2. Approved senior class trip to TopGolf. 3. Approved Class of 2024. Items Discussed: 1.Celebration of #Even Better - Mrs. Bongers and Mrs. Gauthier shared their experiences from the NETA Conference. 2. Patrons Comments - Mrs. Vandenberg, on behalf of the Brainard softball committee, received a check from Ryan Boyer of Waste Connections that will go towards the new softball concessions stand. 3. Informational Items included: Kari Stephens, NASB, shared the results of the work that has been done on the strategic plan; Legislative Update; and NRCSA Conference highlights. 4.
