Connie Kathleen (Patocka) Gaskill was born Aug. 18, 1950, in David City to Mamie and Otto Patocka.
She was a graduate of Aquinas High School in 1968. Connie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, playing games, and watching her favorite soap opera, The Young and The Restless.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Gaskill of Lincoln; son, Brian Gaskill and children Ella Kathleen Gaskill and Julian Gaskill; son and daughter-in-law, Craig Gaskill and Cathy Harrington of Omaha and Adam Gaskill of Lincoln. Survivors also include her sister-in-law, Delores Patocka (Ron’s wife) of Norfolk, Linda Patocka (Lloyd’s wife) of Columbus,; her brother, Paul Patocka and sister-in-law, Deb Lassek of Columbus, Karen (Patocka) Hoffman of Omaha, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Connie was proceeded in death by her brothers, Duane Patocka of Pennsylvania, Ron Patocka of Norfolk, Lloyd Patocka of Columbus, Gary Patocka of Omaha, Rick Patocka of Lincoln, and Danny Patocka of Omaha; and her sister, Janis (Patocka) Staggs of David City.
A Celebration of Life ceremony was June 13. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the family for charities chosen by the family at a later date.
