LaVerne May (Bargman) Hyde was born Nov. 28, 1933, in Sprague, to George and Mary (Fisher) Bargman and passed away June 7, 2024, in Lincoln, at the age of 90 years, 6 months and 10 days.
She was united in marriage to Johnny Hyde on July 7, 1969, in Stillwell, Oklahoma. After Johnny retired from the service, the couple moved to Lincoln, where they lived until 1985 before moving to Staplehurst. LaVerne was a wonderful mother and grandmother who was always there for her family and friends when they needed her the most. Her abundant love for her family and friends was felt by many. She loved to play bingo and met lifelong friends there. She stayed as active as she could right up until her passing. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
LaVerne is preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary Bargman; husband, Johnny Hyde; daughters, Connie McPherson and Vicky Giles; granddaughter, Carrie Galvon; sisters, Betty Kadavy, Delores Wilke, and Millie Lance; and brother, Elmer Bargman.
Survivors cherishing her memory include her children, Jim Snow, Jeff Snow and Kim Keegan; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
The funeral service was June 14 with interment at the Seward Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Hyde Family for future designations. Arrangements by Zabka-Perdue Funeral Home.
