Mary Marie (Davis) Gillespie was born June 26, 1933, in Farragut, Iowa, to James and Alice (Livingston) Davis and passed away July 10, 2024, in Milford, at the age of 91 years and 14 days.
In her free time, she enjoyed playing cards with family and friends, especially cribbage. Mary also loved sewing and coloring. She was united in marriage to Ronald Gillespie on June 20, 1976, in Omaha.
She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; grandson, Bradley Slauter;and numerous brothers and sisters.
Survivors cherishing her memory include her children and spouses, Earl Eugene (Kathy) Slauter, Debra (Richard) Whitmarsh, Terry (Cathy) Slauter; grandchildren and spouses, Krysty (Eric) Mercier, Eric Whitmarsh, Jenny (Kevin) Chavis, Morgan Slauter, Adam Slauter; great-grandchildren, Daryan (Jack) Wheeler, Tirey Bearup and significant other, Sarah, Trynity (Kade) Parriott, Connor Chavis, Hunter Chavis, Tyler Chavis; great great-granchildren, Delylah Parriott and baby Wheeler due soon; and sisters, Rose Bahrke, Leah McAdoo.
