Village of Goehner July 2, 2024 The Village of Goehner Board of Trustees met in open session on July 2, 2024, at the Goehner Fire Hall, as posted in three places in the Village. Chairperson Knisley announced the location of the OPEN MEETINGS ACT POSTER. The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Knisley at 7:30 p.m., at the Goehner Fire Hall. Upon roll call, the following board members were present: Agena, Besse, Bialas, Ostrander and Knisley. CONSENT AGENDA: Minutes of 6/12/2024; Treasurer’s Report; Bills payable to date. Trustee Ostrander moved to approve the consent agenda, with a second by Agena. RCV-Aye: Ostrander, Agena, Besse, Bialas, Knisley. Zoning: one building permit presented and approved for deck to be built. Nuisance properties: on property will be sent a letter regarding weeds/trees on property. Three properties we will be working with Village Lawyer to address issues and discuss how to proceed with properties. Street/Water/Sewer: estimate from JR Bobcat for sample water test sites to be installed; JEO will work with the Village on any future street/drainage projects; checking on how to proceed with sending out past due water bills. Ordinance will be create regarding fireworks. Ordinance regarding chickens in the Village will be changed from one chicken to allow ten chickens, no rooster will be allowed. MC Adjourned at 8:00 pm.
